Cold Therapy
Wraps should be used immediately following a soft tissue injury for at least 15-20 minutes, then followed by repeated use every three hours for the first day. The second day use 3 times daily is sufficient. They supply compression, cold therapy and joint support all at the same time. There simply is no better quality wrap available on the market today. A specially formulated gel will keep the gel were you need it most!
The wrap provides 20 minutes of cold/ice therapy plus compression to reduce swelling and pain from injury or recurring injury.
To use, place the gel inserts in a freezer for about an hour. The frozen gel can be re-inserted into the compartments within the wrap. Apply and tightened to achieve compression and drive the cold deep into the soft tissues surrounding the heel and ankle joint to stop or reduce ankle pain. The wrap will drive cold into the ankle and lower the internal tissue temperature by 10 degrees or more. Immediate relief of ankle pain is obtained and lasts for several hours.

Application of the wrap in its frozen state several times a day will stop the inflammation and stop the ankle pain. Long term, the body will use its energy to heal the injured tissues instead of leaking blood and fluid into the injured area (inflammation and pain).
The compression drives the cold deep into the muscles to provide soothing relief and faster recovery from sore and swollen ankle tendons, ligaments and muscles. The sooner an ankle injury is treated the faster the recovery time. Continued use of a frozen cold compression ankle wrap will significantly help an injured ankle heal faster. It significantly reduces swelling and pain and gets the participant/athlete back to a natural state.
