Radiant Energy is a very effective treatment device for reducing inflammation through a process called vasodilation. Vasodilation: this occurs when blood vessels in the body become wider following the relaxation of the smooth muscle in the vessel wall. Blood pressure is reduced and blood flow is increased.

When using a radiant energy treatment on an inflamed or sore area, vasodilation in the area is increased. As this occurs, inflammation of muscles, tendons and ligaments decrease and more cellular toxins in the treatment area are flushed, replaced with an increased amount of oxygen.
